शिल्पा राव: सिंगर को मिला 'ऑल इंडियन सिने वर्कर्स एसोसिएशन' का साथ; कॉन्सर्ट विवाद की सख्त लहजे में की आलोचना

क्या बोला एसोसिएशन?
इस मामले पर एसोसिएशन ने कहा 'किसी कलाकार की परफॉरमेंस के बीच में ही जबरन साउंड और लाइट बंद कर देना और फिर मंच किसी और को सौंप देना, पूरी तरह से अस्वीकार्य है। शिल्पा राव एक राष्ट्रीय पुरस्कार विजेता हैं और भारतीय संगीत जगत की सबसे सम्मानित आवाजों में से एक हैं। उनके गानों को पूरे देश में बहुत पसंद किया गया है। 'AICWA 'बॉलीवुड म्यूजिक प्रोजेक्ट' की तरफ से राष्ट्रीय पुरस्कार विजेता शिल्पा राव को मंच पर लाइव परफॉर्म करते समय अपमानित किए जाने की कड़े शब्दों में निंदा करता है। किसी कलाकार के साथ ऐसा बर्ताव कभी बर्दाश्त नहीं किया जाएगा।'

एसोसिएशन ने सिंगर का समर्थन करने की कही बात
एसोसिएशन ने आगे कहा 'AICWA पूरी मजबूती से शिल्पा राव के साथ खड़ा है। अगर वह 'बॉलीवुड म्यूजिक प्रोजेक्ट' के खिलाफ कोई कदम उठाना चाहती हैं, तो AICWA हर कानूनी रास्ते से उनका समर्थन करेगा। भविष्य में अगर किसी कलाकार के साथ बुरा बर्ताव किया जाता है, तो AICWA कानून के अनुसार जिम्मेदार लोगों के खिलाफ सख्त कार्रवाई करेगा। किसी कलाकार का अपमान बर्दाश्त नहीं किया जाएगा।'
 

AICWA Condemns Disrespect Shown to National Award-Winning Singer Shilpa Rao at the Bollywood Music Project 10th Edition Mumbai, 25 October 2026 The All Indian Cine Workers Association (AICWA) strongly condemns the treatment of National Award-winning singer Shilpa Rao during her live performance at the 10th edition of the Bollywood Music Project (BMP) in Mumbai on 24 October 2026. Shilpa Rao was performing live on stage when her microphone and lights were forcibly switched off by the organisers. She remained on stage for some time. After her mic was switched off, another performer, Kutle Khan of the Kutle Khan Project, was allowed to sing in her place, and he began singing midway through her address. Forcibly cutting a performing artist's sound and lighting mid-show, and then handing the stage to another act, is completely unacceptable. Shilpa Rao is a National Award winner and one of the most respected voices in Indian music. Her songs have been loved by audiences across the country, including "Tose Naina" (Anwar), "Khuda Jaane" (Bachna Ae Haseeno), "Bulleya" (Ae Dil Hai Mushkil), "Chaleya" (Jawan) and "Ghungroo" (War). To treat an artist of her stature this way, on the stage of an anniversary edition, is a direct insult to her dignity and to the honour she has earned. When the mic and lights were switched off, the audience stood by Shilpa Rao and kept calling out her name, lifting her spirits. In a heartfelt note on Instagram, she wrote that a little piece of her heart broke that night, that the audience's love was felt even after the music stopped, and that she will come back to Mumbai. AICWA salutes the audience for standing with a true artist. AICWA's position: •AICWA condemns, in the harshest terms, the humiliation the Bollywood Music Project inflicted on National Award-winning singer Shilpa Rao while she was performing live on stage. Such behaviour towards an artist will never be tolerated. •AICWA stands firmly with Shilpa Rao. If she chooses to take any action against the Bollywood Music Project, AICWA will support her through every legal avenue. •If any artist is mistreated in the future, AICWA will take strict action against those responsible, as per the law. The humiliation of an artist will not be tolerated. •We call on the organisers to respect artists. If this behaviour continues, artists will refuse to perform at their events. •Artists are invited to showcase their art. Paying for a performance does not mean owning the performer. Anyone who believes otherwise is mistaken, and that attitude is wrong. •An artist wants respect, not humiliation. आयोजकों ने मांगी माफी
इससे पहले 'बॉलीवुड म्यूजिक प्रोजेक्ट' (बीएमपी) के आयोजकों ने सिंगर शिल्पा राव के माइक बंद वाले मामले पर माफी मांगी थी। 24 अक्तूबर को मुंबई में हुए फेस्टिवल में गायिका शिल्पा राव की परफॉरमेंस को अचानक बीच में ही रोक दिया गया था। इस घटना की फेस्टिवल में आए फैंस ने आलोचना की। सोशल मीडिया पर जस्टिस फॉर शिल्पा राव ट्रेंड करने लगा।

सोशल मीडिया पर जारी एक बयान में, आयोजकों ने कहा  'हम दिल से माफी मांगते हैं। बीएमपी में हमारा हमेशा से यही लक्ष्य रहा है कि हम अपने कलाकारों और उनके फैंस को एक बेहतरीन लाइव म्यूजिक अनुभव दें। हम इस वीकेंड हुए फेस्टिवल में शिल्पा राव की परफॉर्मेंस के अचानक खत्म होने के मामले पर अपनी बात रखना चाहते हैं। उन्हें अपने लाइन-अप में शामिल करना हमारे लिए बड़े सम्मान की बात थी। सख्त प्लानिंग और तालमेल के बावजूद, लाइव इवेंट्स में कई बार अचानक से कुछ बदलाव हो सकते हैं, जैसे कि किसी कलाकार की परफॉरमेंस का तय समय से ज्यादा लंबा खिंच जाना।'

आयोजकों ने आगे कहा 'चूंकि हमारे फेस्टिवल स्थानीय प्रशासन के कड़े दिशा-निर्देशों और वेन्यू के कर्फ्यू नियमों के तहत आयोजित होते हैं, इसलिए लगातार हुई देरी की वजह से हमें उनकी परफॉरमेंस को समय से पहले ही रोकना पड़ा। हालांकि ये हालात पूरी तरह से हमारे नियंत्रण से बाहर थे, फिर भी हमें इस बात का गहरा खेद है कि हम उनकी पूरी परफॉरमेंस नहीं दिखा सके। हम आपकी निराशा को समझते हैं। लाइव फेस्टिवल के आयोजन से जुड़ी चुनौतियों को समझने के लिए हम आपके आभारी हैं।'

शिल्पा राव के कॉन्सर्ट में विवाद: बीच शो में बंद किया माइक? अनु मलिक की बेटी के डांस परफॉर्मेंस पर उठे सवाल

बाद में शिल्पा राव ने इंस्टाग्राम स्टोरी के जरिए अपनी निराशा जाहिर की और मुंबई के दर्शकों को उनके समर्थन के लिए धन्यवाद दिया। उन्होंने लिखा, 'मुंबई, आज रात मेरे दिल का एक छोटा सा हिस्सा टूट गया। इतनी खूबसूरत चीज का इस तरह हमसे छिन जाना बहुत तकलीफ देता है। लेकिन जब संगीत रुक गया, तब भी आप नहीं रुके। जिस तरह से आप मेरा नाम पुकारते रहे, आपकी आवाजों में जो प्यार था... आज रात हमारी कहानी अधूरी रह गई। मैं वादा करती हूं, मैं वापस आऊंगी।'
