ऊर्जा संकट कम होने की उम्मीद
यह फैसला ऐसे समय पर आया है जब इस रास्ते को लेकर पूरी दुनिया में चिंता बढ़ गई थी, क्योंकि यही रास्ता दुनिया के सबसे बड़े तेल सप्लाई रूट्स में से एक है। अगर यह बंद हो जाता, तो भारत जैसे देशों के लिए तेल की कीमतें और सप्लाई दोनों पर असर पड़ता।

इसी बीच, संयुक्त राष्ट्र के महासचिव एंटोनियो गुटेरेस ने भी इस मुद्दे पर चिंता जताई है। उन्होंने कहा कि होर्मुज मार्ग के बंद रहने से तेल, गैस और खाद की सप्लाई रुक रही है, जिससे दुनिया भर में असर पड़ रहा है- खासकर खेती के समय।
