सीमा सुरक्षा बल (बीएसएफ) की मोटरसाइकिल स्टंट टीम ने Royal Enfield (रॉयल एनफील्ड) मोटरसाइकिलों की सवारी करते हुए कई रिकॉर्ड बनाए हैं। जहां जांबाज टीम ने 12 फीट 9 इंच की सीढ़ी के ऊपर दो लोगों की सबसे लंबी सवारी का रिकॉर्ड हासिल किया, वहीं एक महिला इंस्पेक्टर ने 175 किलोमीटर से ज्यादा की यात्रा करते हुए 6 घंटे से ज्यादा समय तक खड़े होकर बाइक की सवारी की, जो रिकॉर्ड किए गए इतिहास में अब तक की सबसे लंबी सवारी है। दो रिकॉर्ड बीएसएफ के दूसरे रिकॉर्ड के करीब पहुंच गए, जहां दो बाइकर्स ने बिना ब्रेक के दो घंटे से ज्यादा समय तक 80 किलोमीटर से ज्यादा की दूरी तय की। ये सभी उपलब्धियां लिम्का बुक ऑफ रिकॉर्ड्स में दर्ज हो गईं।

पहला रिकॉर्ड बीएसएफ की जांबाज डेयरडेविल मोटरसाइकिल टीम के इंस्पेक्टर अवधेश कुमार सिंह और कैप्टन सुधाकर ने बनाया था। उन्होंने रॉयल एनफील्ड 350cc मोटरसाइकिल के ऊपर लगे 12.9 फीट की सीढ़ी के टॉप पर दो व्यक्तियों की सबसे लंबी सवारी का रिकॉर्ड बनाया। उन्होंने 16 दिसंबर को 25 बटालियन बीएसएफ कैंपस, छावला, नई दिल्ली में बीएसएफ के विजय दिवस समारोह के दौरान 174.1 किलोमीटर की दूरी तय करते हुए 5 घंटे 26 मिनट की दूरी तय की।

दूसरा रिकॉर्ड बनाया बीएसएफ जांबाज डेयरडेविल मोटरसाइकिल टीम के सदस्य इंस्पेक्टर विश्वजीत भाटिया ने, उन्होंने रॉयल एनफील्ड बाइक पर लेटकर सवार हुआ, हासिल किया। उन्होंने पिछले रिकॉर्ड की तरह उसी दिन 70.2 किलोमीटर की दूरी तय करते हुए 2 घंटे 6 मिनट के लिए बिना ब्रेक के एक रॉयल एनफील्ड की सीट पर लेटकर सबसे लंबे समय तक सवारी करने का रिकॉर्ड बनाया।

तीसरा रिकॉर्ड बीएसएफ की महिला मोटरसाइकिल टीम सीमा भवानी की कप्तान इंस्पेक्टर हिमांशु सिरोही ने बनाया। उन्होंने रॉयल एनफील्ड 350 सीसी मोटरसाइकिल के साइड ब्रैकेट पर सबसे लंबे समय तक खड़े रहने की उपलब्धि हासिल की। उन्होंने 6 घंटे 3 मिनट तक इसी पोजीशन में 178.6 किलोमीटर की दूरी तय की।
