सुतापा ने यहां एक लेख का हिस्सा साझा किया, ‘मैं आपको कुछ बताऊंगी, हर दिन लोग मरते हैं और यह सिर्फ शुरुआत है। हर दिन घरों में अंतिम संस्कार होता है। नई विधवाएं और लोग अनाथ होते हैं। वो हाथ जोड़कर बैठ जाते हैं और इस जिंदगी के बारे में फैसला करने की कोशिश में जुट जाते हैं।‘

I'll tell you something: every day people are dying. And that's just the beginning. Every day, in funeral homes, new widows are born, new orphans. प्रशंसकों की नाराजगी पर सुतापा सिकदर ने लिखा, 'औरतों को कब्रिस्तान में जाने की अनुमति नहीं होती है इसलिए मैंने रात की रानी इगतपुरी में लगाया था, जहां उनकी मेमोरी स्टोन भी लगाई है। उनकी कुछ और पसंदीदा चीजें दफ्नाई हैं। वो जगह मेरी अपनी है, जहां मैं घंटों बिना किसी की टोका-टाकी के बैठ सकती हूं। उनकी रूह वहीं हैं लेकिन इसका मतलब यह नहीं कि कब्र को ऐसे ही छोड़ दिया जाए। मौजूदा परिस्थिति की बात है तो बारिश में जंगली घास उग आती है। जिस फोटो की आप बात कर रही हैं, उसमें मुझे यह जंगली घास खूबसूरत लगी। बारिश होती है, तो पौधे आते हैं और अगले मौसम में सूख जाते हैं, जिसके बाद उसे साफ किया जा सकता है। हर चीज का ठीक उसी तरह होना जरूरी है क्या, जैसा परिभाषित किया गया है? क्या पता, पौधों को बढ़ना एक उद्येश्य के तहत हो।‘
