जम्मू: रेलवे स्टेशन के सामने शिव मार्केट में लगी भीषण आग, कई दुकानें चपेट में; बुझाने के प्रयास जारी

विधायक रंधावा मौके पर
बीजेपी विधायक विक्रम रंधावा ने बताया कि यह एक बहुत बड़ा बाजार है। रेलवे स्टेशन के पास स्थित 'शिव मार्केट'- एक अहम कमर्शियल हब है। यहां ड्राई फ्रूट्स और कंबल बेचने वाली दुकानें हैं, साथ ही खाने-पीने की जगहें और ढाबे भी हैं। आग एक दुकान में शॉर्ट सर्किट से शुरू हुई और तेजी से फैलते हुए आस-पास की दुकानों को अपनी चपेट में ले लिया। जब तक दमकल विभाग की गाड़ियां पहुंचीं, तब तक पूरा बाजार आग की लपटों में घिर चुका था। मेरे अंदाजे से, लगभग 35 से 40 दुकानें पूरी तरह जलकर खाक हो गई हैं। जब तक स्थिति पूरी तरह से काबू में नहीं आ जाती, तब तक हम नुकसान का सही आकलन नहीं कर पाएंगे। दुकानदार प्रशासन को पूरा सहयोग दे रहे हैं। यहां डिप्टी कमिश्नर मौजूद हैं, साथ ही एसपी (साउथ), डीएसपी और एसएचओ तथा उनकी पूरी टीम भी है। समाज के अन्य लोग भी यहां मौजूद हैं और मदद कर रहे हैं। चूंकि यह एक दुखद घटना है, इसलिए हम बाद में प्रशासन के साथ मुआवजे पर चर्चा करेंगे, लेकिन नुकसान बहुत बड़े पैमाने पर हुआ है। 

 

#WATCH | Jammu | BJP MLA Vikram Randhawa says, "This is a very large market—the 'Shiva market' near the railway station—and it serves as a significant commercial hub. There are shops selling dry fruits and blankets, as well as eateries and dhabas. It started with a short circuit in one shop, and the fire spread rapidly, engulfing surrounding shops. By the time the fire brigade arrived, the entire market had been consumed by the flames. In my estimation, about 35 to 40 shops have been completely gutted. We won't be able to assess the full extent of the damage until the situation is completely brought under control. The shopkeepers are cooperating fully with the administration; the Deputy Commissioner (DC) is present here, as is the Superintendent of Police (SP) South, along with the DSP, the SHO, and their entire team. Members of civil society are also here, providing assistance. Since this unfortunate incident has occurred, we will discuss compensation with the administration later, but the damage is on a massive scale..."

पूरा बाजार जल गया, बोला दुकानदार
एक दुकानदार ने कहा कि पूरा बाजार जलकर राख हो गया है। कम से कम पच्चीस से तीस दुकानें पूरी तरह बर्बाद हो गई हैं। बिल्कुल पूरी तरह। हम ईश्वर से प्रार्थना करते हैं कि वे सभी को इस स्थिति से उबरने की शक्ति दें। यह बहुत बड़ा नुकसान है, सब कुछ खत्म हो गया है। मैं प्रशासन से भी अपील करता हूं कि वे जल्द से जल्द आगे आएं और यह सुनिश्चित करें कि बिना किसी देरी के मुआवजा दिया जाए।

आग बुझने के बाद करेंगे नुकसान का आकलन, डीसी
जम्मू के डिप्टी कमिश्नर और डिस्ट्रिक्ट मजिस्ट्रेट, मिंगा शेरपा ने कहा कि कई दुकानें प्रभावित हुई हैं और बचाव कार्य पहले ही शुरू हो चुके हैं। आप मौके पर फायर इमरजेंसी सर्विस, एसडीआरएफ और जिला पुलिस को देख सकते हैं। यहां बीस से ज्यादा दमकल गाड़ियां तैनात हैं, साथ ही जीएमसी की ओर से अतिरिक्त पानी के टैंकर भी उपलब्ध कराए गए हैं। हमारा मुख्य लक्ष्य आग को जल्द से जल्द बुझाना है। हम आग के लगभग 95 प्रतिशत हिस्से को काबू में कर चुके हैं। एक बार आग पूरी तरह बुझ जाने के बाद, हम नुकसान का आकलन करेंगे।

#WATCH | J&K | Deputy Commissioner (DC) and District Magistrate of Jammu, Minga Sherpa says, "...Around plus shops have been affected, and rescue operations are already underway. You can see the fire emergency services, the SDRF, and the district police on-site. There are more than twenty fire engines deployed, along with additional water tankers provided by the GMC. Our primary objective is to extinguish the fire as quickly as possible; we have already managed to bring about 95 percent of the blaze under control. Once that is complete, we will conduct an assessment of the damage..."
