बॉलीवुड फिल्म रईस में अपनी एक्टिंग से लाखों दिलों को जीतने वाली पाकिस्तानी एक्ट्रेस माहिरा खान एक बार फिर से चर्चा में आ गई हैं। उनको लेकर पाकिस्तानी एक्टर फिरदौस जमाल ने विवादित बयान दिया है। फिरदौस जमाल ने कहा कि माहिरा में एक्टिंग वाली कोई बात नहीं हैं वह केवल एक औसत दर्जे की मॉडल हैं।

एक्टर फिरदौस जमाल ने माहिरा खान को लेकर ये बात एक टॉक शो में बोली है। उन्होंने फिल्मी दुनिया पर बात करते हुए कहा कि, 'ये बात कहते हुए माफी चाहूंगा, लेकिन उनके पास हीरोइन बनने की कोई क्वालिटी नहीं हैं, वह एक औसत दर्जे की मॉडल हैं। वह अभिनेत्री नहीं हैं।' जमाल यहीं नहीं रुके उन्होंने माहिरा की उम्र को लेकर भी विवादित बयान दिया है।

बॉलीवुड में फिल्म 'सनम तेरी कसम' में नजर आ चुकीं पाकिस्तानी एक्ट्रेस मावरा होकेन ने ट्विटर पर फिरदौस जमाल की जमकर आलोचना की। उन्होंने ट्वीट में लिखा- 'अपने देश के सबसे बड़े नाम का मजाक बनाना आपको बहुत छोटा बना देता है। राय की आड़ में अपमानजनक टिप्पणी को रोकना होगा। उम्मीद है कि यह दो मिनट की प्रसिद्धी इसके ही लायक थी। माहिरा वहां तक पहुंचने के लिए बहुत मेहनत की है जहां वह आज के समय में हैं। यह आसान नहीं है। मुझे उन पर गर्व है।'
