अक्षय कुमार ने लिखा, 'बच्ची के साथ हुई दर्दनाक घटना के बारे में जानकर दुख हुआ और गुस्सा भी आया । ये वैसा संसार नहीं है जो हम अपने बच्चों के लिए चाहते हैं । ऐसे अपराधियों को कड़ी से कड़ी सजा मिलनी चाहिए ।'
