The Club CrashersThe bass was thumping hard enough to rattle my ribcage. I stood at the entrance of The Neon Illusion, feeling entirely out of place in my simple cotton kurta. On the crowded dance floor, people were losing their minds. Under the flashing strobe lights, even the liquor bottles behind the bar counter seemed to be doing some weird, synchronized Bollywood dance steps. I blinked, trying to make sense of the madness.Right next to the DJ booth stood a guy in a completely ruined, tattered outfit. He looked like an avant-garde fashion disaster. As I walked past him, he stared straight at me and muttered something completely incoherent under his breath.Man, this place is tragic, I thought to myself, shaking my head. These poor urban souls.I genuinely felt bad for them. I mean, look at their financial state. They clearly didn't have enough money to buy decent clothes that weren't torn to shreds. And instead of investing in a healthy glass of badam milk or a fresh fruit juice to boost their immunity, they were throwing hard-earned cash at expensive, bitter liquids. It just didn't make any logical sense. Before I could complete my mental lecture on modern lifestyle choices, reality hit me."Hey! Look at that guy!" a loud, heavily slurred voice shouted over the music. "Who let this mad beggar in here? Bro, security! Get him out! He’s ruining the vibe!"Suddenly, two massive bouncers who looked like they survived solely on protein shakes appeared out of nowhere. They didn't ask questions. They just grabbed my arms and smoothly escorted me out onto the pavement, like they were discarding a piece of used tissue paper. The heavy glass doors shut behind me, cutting off the deafening music.I stood on the quiet street, smoothing down my wrinkled kurta. I was a bit shocked by the sudden eviction, sure. But as I took a deep breath of the cool night air, a strange wave of relief washed over me. Inside, it was suffocating. Out here, under the open sky, I felt completely relaxed. Totally normal. It’s funny how the world works. People trapped in their own toxic habits will always judge you based on their own twisted standards. To them, the sober guy is the crazy one. But honestly? Getting kicked out of their perfect little paradise was the most peaceful thing that happened to me all day.
